Refrigeration Systems Construction and Service is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join our refrigeration construction team. This traveling field position requires hands-on welding in shop and field environments, with emphasis on 6G, TIG stainless, and reading blueprints.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of pipe welding experience in industrial refrigeration, ammonia or CO2 systems, and the ability to travel on short notice while maintaining safety and quality standards.

About the Opportunity

RSCS is looking forexperienced Pipe Welders to join ourRefrigeration Construction team. This is a traveling fieldposition for dependable welders who take pride in qualityworkmanship, understand mechanical construction environments, andare willing to support refrigeration construction projects in theshop and in the field.

This is not an entry-level position . Qualified candidatesmust have hands-on pipe welding experience, strong attention todetail, safe work habits, and the ability to work independentlywhile contributing to a professional construction crew.

The successful candidatewill perform pipe welding for industrial refrigerationconstruction projects, including ammonia and CO2 refrigerationsystems. This role requires welding skill, the ability to readdrawings, a dependable work ethic, and the flexibility to travelas needed based on project demands.

What You’ll Do

• Perform pipe weldingfor commercial and industrial refrigeration construction projects
• Complete welding workin both shop and field environments
• Perform 6G position welding
• Perform Stick weldingusing 6010 and 7018 electrodes
• Perform TIG welding onstainless steel with precision and quality
• Weld carbon steel andstainless steel piping used in industrial refrigeration systems
• Work with small bore tolarge bore pipe sizes

What We’re Looking For

Qualified candidatesshould have:

• 3-5 years of experienceas a Pipe Welder in industrial refrigeration, mechanicalconstruction, or related pipe welding work
• Industrial ammoniarefrigeration welding experience preferred
• CO2 refrigerationsystem experience preferred
• Proficiency in 6Gposition welding
• Experience with Stickwelding, including 6010 and 7018 electrodes
• TIG welding experience,especially with stainless steel

• Ability to work withsmall bore to large bore pipe sizes

Compensation

This Pipe Welder positionpays $25-$40 per hour , depending on verifiedexperience, welding skill level, refrigeration or mechanicalconstruction background, travel requirements, and overall fit forthe role.

This is a field welderposition on the RSCS construction team. Starting pay will bediscussed during the interview process and determined based on thecandidate’s experience, qualifications, and ability to meet theneeds of the position.
