What You Will Do:

• Perform high-quality welding on pipes and associated components across a range of materials, including black steel, stainless steel, and socket welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering and isometric drawings, and welding procedures.
• Determine appropriate techniques, equipment, and materials for each project.
• Weld pipe joints in all positions with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with Pipefitters in the layout and installation process, including manually hoisting and positioning pipes, hangers, and supports as needed.

What We are Looking for:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder with at least five (5) years’ experience in an industrial or HVAC construction setting.
• Proficiency in various welding methods (SMAW, GTAW, MIG, etc.).
• Ability to work with various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys.
• Ability to set up welding equipment and select proper welding methods such as TIG, MIG, or stick welding.
• Must be able to weld at extreme heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards.
• Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
