Pipe Welders must have Industrial Structural Welding experience

Pipe Welders must also possess the skills to:

• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Able to work both independently and within a team environment
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Pipefitting experience
• Examine finished welds
• Perform pre-welding preparations
• Construct and repair piping systems
• Operate machinery and equipment
• Assemble and install metal pipes and pipe fittings for stainless and carbon steel projects
• Use calipers, straightedges and other tools to align and secure metal parts
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of pipe welding techniques and various materials
