Pay Rate: $40/hour and $660/week per diem

Job Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and other customer specifications/drawings.
• Perform welding on Carbon 309 Stainless Steel Wired 20 Copper Nickel (TIG).
• Work in the 6GR position.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of naval or commercial welding experience.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry.
• Ability to pass a hair follicle test and background check.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Understanding of ship layouts and compartment identification.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
