Job summary

Qualifications

  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts.
  • Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate tig welding operations.
  • Install piping for hydraulic machines.
  • Ensures quality procedures are met per engineering specifications.
  • Has experience in MTE tig welding.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION – PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Pipe Welder will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and welding piping systems used in hydraulic applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.


Compensation:

$18.00 to $32.00+ an hour
