Job summary

Dynamic Systems (DSI), LLC is seeking a Pipe Stress, Hydraulic & CFD Engineer to support design, analysis, and optimization of industrial piping and HVAC systems. The role combines pipe stress analysis, hydraulic modeling, and CFD for data centers, cleanrooms and industrial facilities to ensure safe operation.

The candidate will collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers, prepare calculations and reports, and stay current on modeling software and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace or related field.
• Experience with pipe stress, hydraulic modeling or CFD analysis (ANSYS Fluent, PIPE-FLO, etc.).
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to engineers and managers.
• Experience Level: 2+ years or 10+ years, all qualified encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers on projects.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, specs, and visualizations.
• Model piping, hydraulics, and CFD to inform design decisions.
• Evaluate thermal expansion, loads, vibration, and seismic effects.
• Support commissioning by comparing as-built vs modeled performance.
