Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Experienced Pipe Stress Engineer in Houston, TX to analyze and validate piping designs for structural integrity and code compliance. You will evaluate static and dynamic stresses, develop technical specifications, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to support project execution.

The role requires strong background in piping stress analysis, familiarity with ASME B31.1/31.3 codes, and experience using CAESAR II, ANSYS and related tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Performs stress analysis for piping systems, validating designs against codes and performance requirements.
• Prepares datasheets, specifications and technical bids for existing technologies and applications.
• Interacts with customers, engineering teams and vendors to determine root causes and develop solutions.
• Travel to field sites occasionally to collect data or assist with field problems.
• Prepares reports and calculations ensuring compliance with applicable codes and procedures.
