Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is a full-service mechanical contractor seeking a Pipe Superintendent for our manufacturing shop. You will lead a team of pipe welders, fitters, and helpers to prefabricate industrial HVAC hydronic piping systems.

You will oversee installation, prioritize safety, manage project schedules, review submittals and manuals, and help recruit talent for the pipe department. Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with flowline manufacturing.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of industrial hydronic piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
• Prioritize safety and ensure the team completes audits and all EAS safety requirements.
• Manage project schedules.
• Maintain tool inspection reports.
• Review submittals, installation, and operation manuals.
• Interview and hire new employees to join the pipe department.
