Job summary

DNOW is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to read and interpret technical standards in purchase orders and ensure precision in measurements. You will utilize micrometers, calipers, and related tools while maintaining accurate records.

The role includes potential travel to branch locations, collaboration with QA personnel, and reporting results using Word/Excel or databases. A high school diploma is required and forklift operation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical specs/codes is preferred.
• Ability to use calibrated precision measuring tools and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret ASTM, ANSI, ASME, MSS and ISO standards and specifications in purchase orders.
• Use precision measuring equipment and maintain calibration.
• Train branch QA personnel as needed when unsupervised.
• May travel to branch locations as required.
• Report completed work electronically using MS Word/Excel or database software.
