Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor - Pipe at our Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. You will coordinate daily pipe crew activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include assigning work, mentoring crew, and driving process improvements while ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; leadership experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Experience with pipe trades and blueprint interpretation preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Daily assignments and coordination of employees to ensure maximum performance, efficiency and quality.
• Organize and assign work to hourly employees to meet safety, schedule and cost objectives.
• Set, assign and measure daily production goals, instruct, mentor and motivate crew members.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and reduce work order span times.
• Collaborate with multi-trade Supervisors to ensure first-time quality on time.
