Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production activities at the Quonset Point Facility in North Kingstown, RI. This role requires coordinating multiple shifts and driving safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily assignments and oversee hourly employees for efficiency and quality.
• Organize work to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Set and measure daily production goals; mentor and motivate crew members.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce work order span times and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with other Supervisors to ensure first-time quality on time.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech with team members and supervisors.
