Job summary

AllStaff is hiring a floor mechanic to support pipe mill and steelmaking operations in a manufacturing environment. You will perform autonomous maintenance, operate cranes, and participate in continuous improvement while keeping production areas clean and safe.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, safety-focused work habits, and the ability to read operating instructions. Swing shifts include 6:00am–6:00pm and 6:00pm–6:00am with a 4-on/4-off rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous training and experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Willingness to learn floor mechanic responsibilities in a pipe mill setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform autonomous maintenance tasks such as greasing, oiling, and checking fluid levels.
• Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and motorized vehicles.
• Inspect pipe and report quality issues immediately.
• Complete shift reports and submit to Team Leader.
• Execute tooling and roll changes and repairs within training scope.
