Job summary

OPS Sales Company in DEWEY, OK 74029 is seeking a Pipe Mill Attendant to support pipe manufacturing operations. You will help with machine setup, monitor production, and ensure product quality and safety in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments, and attention to detail. Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work around heavy equipment in a day shift.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or mill experience preferred, but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, operation, and shutdown of pipe mill equipment.
• Monitor production processes and promptly report abnormalities or equipment issues.
• Measure and inspect pipe products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Perform basic adjustments and minor maintenance under supervision.
• Remove scrap material and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
• Accurately complete required production, quality, and safety documentation.
• Assist operators during changeovers and maintenance activities.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
