Job summary

CK Contractors and Development LLC is seeking a Pipe Layer to join our field crews servicing the greater Charlotte area. You will assemble, connect, and construct pipe systems for storm drains, sanitary sewers, and water mains, aligning pieces and sealing joints with cement, glue, or welding.

Candidates need 2+ years of pipeline experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong focus on safety. Travel within a 70-mile radius and overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pipeline construction experience.
• OSHA Confined Space training preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and plans.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to policies.
• Effective communication with crew and drivers.
• Reliable transportation and availability for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install sanitary and storm sewer structures and pipe systems in trench conditions.
• Cut and fit pipes, align, weld or seal joints.
• Check slopes for drainage using levels or lasers.
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints.
• Maintain equipment and perform pre/post checks.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Move between job sites within 70 mile radius.
• Collaborate with other trades.
