Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is hiring a construction laborer to support highway and utility crews across field locations in Utah. The role involves a range of manual tasks, equipment operation, and on-site safety responsibilities.

You will follow supervisor instructions and contribute to efficient, safe job sites. Qualified candidates typically have a GED or high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with construction experience seen as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related experience in construction is a plus.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within designed parameters.
• Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
• Shovel earth/dirt to prepare ground trenches for pipes.
• May dig up existing ground pipes with manual tools.
• Build couplings, connectors, and mechanical joints using parts and tools.
• Set up laser level/tripod and pipe lasers.
• Keep time and material records.
• Travel to and from various locations.
