Job summary

The Walsh Group is hiring a Pipe Layer in Arcadia, FL for the 225151 - PR3 Pumping and Conveyance Volume 4 project. You will lay, join, wrap and seal pipe for water main, sanitary sewer, and other utilities on commercial or heavy civil sites; may operate hand and power tools and assist with site prep.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas mains and sanitary sewer
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed
• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor
