Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer for LaPlace, LA and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include constructing pipe systems for storm and sanitation sewers, aligning pipes, and preparing trenches.

Candidates must have at least 1 year in construction, be able to operate laser/pipe level, and travel within a 60-mile radius. Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Construction background with at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to operate laser/pipe level and understand slopes.
• Knowledge of sewer systems, storm drains, and water mains.
• Experience with trenching tools and pipe fitting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and grade to lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers.
• Lay pipe sections and complete connections; weld metal sections when required.
• Coordinate with pipe crews and supervise trench work as needed.
• Install or repair sanitary or storm sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in trench environments.
