Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Laborer - Pipelayer for the Main Road Segment A Project in Charleston, SC. You will perform pipe-laying tasks including laying, joining, wrapping, and sealing pipes on construction sites, using hand or power tools as needed, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include working with crew members, handling tools, and adhering to safety policies. Opportunities to work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.
• Good manual dexterity and steady balance.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lay, join, align, wrap and seal pipe sections for water/gas mains and sewer lines.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by supervision.
• Perform physical tasks as required and under supervisor instruction.
