The role involves cutting pipes, installing and repairing sanitary and storm sewer systems, and coordinating with crew members to maintain safety and productivity on highway projects. We seek at least 2 years of pipe laying experience in highway construction, with the physical stamina and teamwork skills essential for demanding field work.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience laying pipe in highway construction.
• Applicants should demonstrate physical fitness and ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities

• Cut pipes to required lengths using saws and power tools.
• Install and repair wet and dry utility pipes and sewer structures.
• Move pipe into trenches and backfill as needed.
• Connect pipe sections and seal joints, ensuring pressure tests pass.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members and maintain safety.
