Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience laying pipe in highway construction.
• Physically demanding role requiring a high level of fitness.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs and perform general labor when needed.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Signaling equipment operators to ensure safe excavation.
• Establish alignment and grade using a laser.
• Align and join pipe sections correctly.
• Coordinate all excavation activities related to pipes.
• Dig and move dirt; prepare trenches for pipes.
• Operate loaders, excavators, and backhoes as trained.
