Job summary

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Pipe Layer for the Elbow Rd Project in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role involves laying and joining pipe sections, aligning and sealing various pipe types for water, gas mains, and sewer lines on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil sites.

You will operate hand and power tools and perform required physical tasks on site. The position offers opportunities for work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Able to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas mains and sanitary sewer.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.
• Performs physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
