Job summary

Ulliman Schutte Construction, LLC is hiring experienced Pipe Layers for our Fredericksburg, VA project. You will read blueprints, set up pipe runs, and join joints while coordinating with the site superintendent to prioritize daily tasks. This is outdoor, weather-exposed work supporting water infrastructure in the Fredericksburg area.

Qualifications include at least 1 year as a Pipe Layer and ability to read blueprints. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades.
• Knowledge of pipe, joints, aggregates, etc.
• At least one (1) year experience as a Pipe Layer.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on large diameter ductile iron and PCCP pipe installations.
• Prep ground, cut/align pipes, and seal joints.
• Work with project Superintendent to prioritize work.
• Use concepts, procedures, and practices common for Pipe Layers.
• Outdoor work with all types of weather.
