B&S Site Development is seeking a Pipe Layer to join our field crews in Virginia. You will assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes, and ensure joints are sealed to city standards.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role with opportunities for growth in a fast-growing civil contractor.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50 pounds

Aufgaben

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
• Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue.
• Installing auxiliary lines.
• Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Filling and sealing pipe trenches
• Follow city ordinances and safety rules.
