Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a Pipe Layer Foreman to supervise a crew and oversee trenching, pipe laying, and joint sealing on commercial construction sites. The role requires physical endurance, commitment to safety, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Strong leadership is essential to coordinate 5–15 workers daily. The candidate should have prior foreman experience in pipe laying and the capacity to manage site operations efficiently while adhering to site safety protocols

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Pipe Layer Foreman experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time in all weather condidtions

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule crew of 5-15 construction employees daily
• Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints
• Heavy physical labor associated with construction site
• Requires standing for long periods, working in all types of weather (including exposure to extremes of hot and cold) and in all kinds of work environments
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
