Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC seeks a Pipe Layer to assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes per city ordinances. Candidates should be physically fit with pipe fitting knowledge and the ability to work quickly without delaying crews.

Responsibilities include measuring routes, gathering tools, locating piping, removing old systems, and sealing joints. This role is on-site with heavy equipment handling.

Qualifications

• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school a plus.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 50 pounds.
• 1–2 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
• Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue.
• Installing auxiliary lines.
• Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Filling and sealing pipe trenches.
