Job summary

Archer Western, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Pipe Layer for the CAP CMAR Aqueduct Hydrology Improvements Phase 1 in Wittmann, AZ. The successful candidate will lay, join, wrap and seal pipe sections on water/gas mains and sanitary sewer projects, working with a crew on commercial, industrial or heavy civil sites.

Expect hands-on work with drills and hammers, adherence to safety policies, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps and seals pipe sections for water/gas mains and sanitary sewer.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.
• Performs physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
