Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC is looking for a pipe layer to assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes per city ordinances. Strong physical fitness and basic pipe fitting knowledge are essential to support rapid, high‑quality civil construction work.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in construction, a GED/HS diploma or related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Trade school is a plus for skilled applicants.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience required.
• GED or high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school a plus for advanced skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Measure and configure pipe routes.
• Gather materials and install tools.
• Dig trenches using hand and machine tools.
• Locate installed piping systems.
• Remove old or damaged piping systems.
• Lay pipes into trenches and space them correctly.
• Check alignment and seal joints with cement glue.
• Install auxiliary lines.
• Seal exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Fill and seal pipe trenches.
