Archer Western, a member of the Walsh Group, is seeking a Pipe Layer in Wittmann, AZ to perform pipe-laying on water/gas mains and sanitary sewer projects. The role involves physical labor, reading layouts, and using hand/power tools under supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Follow safety policies and communicate effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas mains and sanitary sewer.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.
• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
