Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Pipe Layer for the Central Water Group/Red Oak WWTP in Waxahachie, TX. The role involves laying, joining, aligning, wrapping and sealing various pipes and conduits on construction sites across commercial, industrial, and heavy civil projects.

Candidates should be able to operate hand and power tools, perform demanding physical work, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. The position offers opportunities for nationwide travel and training within our Build,

Qualifications

1 year of verifiable construction experience (preferred).
Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
Lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
Follow safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with crew.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Good manual dexterity; long periods of standing, bending, kneeling or sitting.

Responsibilities

Lay, join, align, wrap, and seal pipe sections for water/gas mains, sanitary sewer, or conduits.
Work with crew members and use hand and power tools as directed by management.
Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
