Responsibilities

Allan Myers is seeking ambitious, hard-working pipe layers to join our team. We promote from within, offer great benefits, and treat our employees like family.

This role involves heavy physical tasks which are mostly unskilled or semi-skilled. Duties vary based on assigned tasks.

• Lay pipe for sanitary storm sewers and water mains.
• Assist in excavation, trenching, and backfilling, following safety procedures.
• Install piping, including flanged ductile iron and stainless steel press-fit.
• Set up and operate pipe lasers; knowledge of RCP & ADS storm pipe, sanitary pipe, and water pipe installation.
• Follow safety protocols and work with trench boxes.
• Complete installations based on layout and instructions from the Field Manager.
• Work at heights with fall protection.
• Cut pipe using abrasive blades and other tools.
• Communicate with operators for pipe alignment using hand signals.
• Guide laborers on proper tools, pipe length, and cutting techniques.
• Lift, carry, and organize materials and tools.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Trade School experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
