Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Pipe Layer for our Operations team in Spartanburg, SC. The role supports field operations on heavy civil construction projects, assisting operators, foremen, and crew members to keep projects safe, efficient, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong teamwork and commitment to OSHA safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, grading, trenching, compacting, and site cleanup.
• Assist with installation of pipe, drainage systems, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and warning signs as needed.
• Follow directions from Foremen and Superintendents to support daily production goals.
• Adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Description

The Pipe Layer performs a variety of physical and manual tasks to support field operations on heavy civil construction projects. This position assists equipment operators, foremen, and other utility crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to travel and work in all weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities
