Job summary

J.C. Wilkie Construction is seeking Construction Apprentices to support projects in the Columbia/Lexington, South Carolina area. Apprentices will be assigned to a pipe laying crew or a grading crew based on skills and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site daily.
• Ability to regularly lift and move 50-60 pounds.
• Willingness to perform physical labor and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Support pipe laying or grading crews on projects across Columbia/Lexington, SC.
• Perform varied labor tasks such as digging, brooming, shoveling, and material handling.
• Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, safety vest, gloves, boots).
