Job summary

Faulconer Construction Company is seeking a Pipe Foreman to supervise the lay out, assembly and installation of drainage pipes on water, storm, and sanitary projects. You will lead the pipe crew, coordinate with the Site Superintendent to plan installation sequencing, ensure safety, and oversee inspection and grade setting with survey instruments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years supervising pipe and culvert installation on heavy civil projects.
Current OSHA 30 or greater certification required.
Strong organizational, time-management and leadership abilities.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operates heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill large pipe and culvert.
Studies project specifications with Site Superintendent to plan installation sequencing.
Responsible for management and safety of the pipe crew.
Inspects work site to determine sequencing, method of installation and potential hazards.
Enforces company policies.
Uses lasers, grade rods, eye levels and transit levels to set grades for installation.
