Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter Welder to lay out, fabricate, and install pipe in field and fab shop environments. You will weld and assemble pipe for carbon steel and stainless systems, read blueprints, and ensure accurate routings and fit-up.

The role requires 3+ years of TIG and Stick experience and passing an ASME welding test. The position involves multi-site work, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to work at heights in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of TIG and Stick pipe welding experience with various techniques.
• Must pass ASME pipe welding test and background check.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures in welding.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems as they relate to piping.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision while following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret sketches, blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Measure routings, fabricate pipe to fit existing systems and prepare spool pieces.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other trades.
• Cut pipe using saws and torches; assemble and install pipe and fittings.
• Verify piping systems and ensure supports, hangers and equipment are correctly installed.
• Work at heights and in varying temperatures while following safety requirements.
