Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, proficiency in TIG and Stick welding, and be able to read technical drawings. The position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 - $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pipe fitting and welding experience in an industrial or construction setting.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, especially TIG and Stick.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and piping schematics.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
• Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe using tools.
• Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
• Fit and assemble pipe systems and supports in an industrial setting.
• Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity.

Position Overview: We are currently hiring experienced Pipe Fitters/Welders to join our day shift crew. This role involves laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for industrial projects, along with various welding tasks. Candidates must have experience reading blueprints and working with a variety of piping materials and welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
• Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe using tools such as pipe threaders, benders, and welding equipment
• Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
• Fit and assemble pipe systems and supports in an industrial setting
• Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity
• Work closely with other trades and foremen to complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations on job sites

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pipe fitting and welding experience in an industrial or construction setting
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, especially TIG and Stick
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and piping schematics
• Familiarity with various types of pipe (carbon steel, stainless, etc.)
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights
• Welding certifications are a plus but not required
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
