Job summary

ARMI is seeking a Pipe Fitter - Thermal in Fayetteville, AR to interpret blueprints, map pipe layouts, and oversee piping installations. The role requires reading blueprints and performing isometric drawings, with travel 100% as needed and nights/weekends as required.

You will cut and thread piping, assemble components, and test systems to ensure safe operation, while supporting fellow welders and fitters on site.

Qualifications

• Trade school or equivalent training in pipe fitting and isometrics.
• Ability to read blueprints and map pipe layouts from specifications.
• 2+ years drawing isometric drawings with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and building specs to map pipe layouts.
• Pull measurements and perform takeoffs for piping.
• Draw and interpret isometric drawings.
• Cut and thread pipe using saws, torches, threaders, and benders.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings and related equipment.
• Inspect and test installed systems using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing.
• Lay out full-scale pipe system drawings from blueprints.
• Assist with other welders and fitters on job sites.
• Clean up jobsites after completion.

How you will make an impact

• Interpretblueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
• Proficient in pulling measurements and making takeoffs
• Draw and interpretisometric drawings
• Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems andpipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
• Assistswith other welders and fitters as needed on job sites
• Cleans up jobsites after completion

What You Need to Succeed

• Trade school and/or 2+ yearsof drawing isometric drawings
• Ability to travel100% of the time.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• OSHA 10, preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check

• $55 Per Diem and hotel paid for when traveling overnight
