Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks an experienced Pipe Fitter/Mechanic to install and service piping systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will read blueprints, lay out routes, and ensure safe, high-quality installations on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 6+ years of pipe-fitting experience, the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, and a valid driver’s license. Eligible benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of pipe-fitting experience preferred.
• Must be eligible for a government security investigation; TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and maintain piping systems for HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, piping diagrams, and specifications.
• Lay out routes, select materials, and ensure proper connections and elevations.
• Perform testing (ultrasonic, hydrostatic, leak tests) on piping systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, trades, and customers; maintain safety and quality.
