Job Summary

This position involves important tasks in the production of the company's products, including measuring, fabricating, cutting, welding, and grooving piping for our pre-packaged pumping stations. The role also offers opportunities to learn other manufacturing tasks. It requires a self-directed and collaborative approach, following standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Essential Duties

• Fabricate parts by cutting, welding, and grooving according to prints.
• Measure, fabricate, cut, weld, groove, and assemble pumping stations based on directions, schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams.
• Verify work and troubleshoot issues as they occur.
• Report non-conformances to area lead or supervisors.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Follow safe and quality practices and systems.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Record time spent on jobs.
• Crosstrain and learn other manufacturing functions.

Physical Demands

• Regularly communicate verbally and listen attentively.
• Handle power tools and manipulate wires, components, and tools.
• Frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift more than 25 pounds for extended periods.

Work Environment

Our fabrication shop is fully climate-controlled with air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort.
