Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters/Fabricators for a Brookshire, TX area fabrication facility. This long-term, temp-to-hire role requires capable readers of fabrication drawings, and ability to perform complex fit-ups to support welding and production goals.

Ideal candidates will work with carbon/stainless piping, read isometrics, and prepare joints for GTAW/TIG welding. Overtime and Saturday work are common in this fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have pipe fitter experience in fabrication shop.
• Ability to read isometrics and spool drawings.
• Experience with carbon steel and/or stainless steel fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read piping isometrics and spool drawings.
• Perform pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-flange fit-up.
• Measure, lay out, and assemble piping systems per specs.
• Install and align flanges, reducers, tees, and branch connections.
• Verify flange and bolt-hole alignment.
• Maintain proper root openings and high-low conditions.
• Prepare joints for GTAW/TIG welding operations.
• Fabricate carbon/stainless piping assemblies.
• Verify dimensions and fabrication tolerances.
• Support material traceability requirements.
• Prepare assemblies for automated and robotic welding processes.
• Work safely in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
