Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking an experienced TIG / Combo Pipe Welder for a leading industrial manufacturing and pipe fabrication operation in Brookshire, TX. The role focuses on clean TIG root welds on pipe, with emphasis on WPS compliance and production quality.

The ideal candidate will read and follow WPSs, understand fit-up, penetration, and root consistency, and be able to document welds and maintain traceability in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• TIG root welding on pipe experience
• Experience in pipe fabrication environments
• Ability to read and follow WPSs
• Understanding of fit-up, penetration and root consistency
• Ability to identify unacceptable gaps and high-low conditions
• Experience with weld documentation and traceability
• Willingness to complete a weld test
• Ability to work overtime (up to ~60 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• TIG root welding on pipe to ensure clean, production-ready welds.
• Read and follow WPSs to meet quality standards.
• Understand fit-up, penetration, and root consistency for welds.
• Identify unacceptable gaps and high-low conditions.
• Document welds and maintain traceability.
• Willing to complete a weld test as required.
• Work overtime up to ~60 hours per week.

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking an experienced TIG / Combo Pipe Welder for a leading industrial manufacturing and pipe fabrication operation.

The ideal candidate has recent hands-on experience producing clean, consistent TIG root welds on pipe, understands WPS requirements, and can maintain production-quality standards in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Requirements

• TIG root welding experience on pipe
• Pipe fabrication experience
• Ability to read and follow WPSs
• Understanding of fit-up, penetration, and root consistency
• Ability to identify unacceptable gaps and high-low conditions
• Experience with weld documentation and traceability
• Willingness to complete a weld test
• Ability to work overtime (up to approximately 60 hours/week)

Preferred

• TIG & MIG (Combo) welding experience
• Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience
• Experience working in quality-driven production environments
