Responsibilities

Allan Myers seeks a dedicated Field Manager with strong technical knowledge to oversee crews and equipment, and coordinate materials and deliveries. Join our team building innovative heavy civil projects. We prioritize collaboration, safety, and excellence, contributing to impactful infrastructure development and your career growth.

This role supervises safe and efficient field operations at assigned sites, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in excavation, pipe, concrete, paving, grading, mechanical, or related disciplines.
  • Supervise hourly crew members and plan/schedule manpower and equipment.
  • Manage deliveries from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring safety, profitability, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow the Allan Myers Safety Program, including preplanning, safety equipment, and incident reporting.
  • Coordinate with other managers, superintendents, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Provide on-the-job training for crew members.
  • Set and communicate performance expectations related to productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for project activities, change orders, and invoicing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; further education in construction preferred.
  • At least 2 years of construction experience in relevant trades, with 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
