Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Associate to support pipe fabrication operations in our MD facility. The role involves operating fabrication equipment, inspecting welds, measuring materials, and preparing pipe orders for shipment.

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 5 AM - 1:30 PM, with overtime and typically 10-hour days. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k), and other voluntary benefits. Paid sick leave and holiday pay may also be available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work physically throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate pipe fabrication equipment, including grooving, cutting, threading, and beveling machines.
• Inspect welds and check pipes for leaks and quality standards.
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipes using tape measures and hand/power tools.
• Move, organize, and band pipe orders for shipment and storage.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
