We are seeking an experienced Pipe Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment and machinery. The equipment operator's duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials, and liaising with coworkers to ensure that the projects are completed accurately. You will be required to conduct your duties in a safe, diligent manner always.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and bulldozers
- Utilize excavators for trenching, digging foundations, site prep, backfilling, and material loading/unloading
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to execute excavation work with precision
- Perform tasks such as grading, earthmoving, and transporting materials across job sites
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Support construction projects by assisting with ground preparation, utility trenching, and structure backfills
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to complete assignments efficiently
- Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, especially excavators.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices and equipment operation guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
