Job summary

Ideal candidates bring formal education in shipbuilding or related trades and a track record of team leadership, discipline, and continuous improvement. This role is full-time, on-site, with multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• BS/Apprentice is required.
• High School plus 4 years in manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience.
• Associate Degree in a trade/technical field with 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience and job knowledge.
• Breaks broad strategies down to practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to perform these plans.
• Perform management duties for Pipe department, including Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule.
• Additional common management responsibilities as listed in Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001 and reviewed with applicants before applying.
