Job Summary

As a Loader Operator, you will be a key member of our pipe crew, responsible for operating and maintaining a loader to support the installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems. Your role ensures the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment necessary for underground utility projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a loader accurately, following project plans and specifications.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with regulations.
• Handle pipes, materials, and equipment safely, loading and unloading precisely.
• Assist in trenching and excavation tasks as needed to prepare for pipe installation.
• Ensure work meets project standards, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with the pipe crew, foreman, and team members to coordinate activities and meet project goals.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors, reporting progress and issues.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, inspections, and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily inspection reports and work logs.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges during material handling and loading.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Loader Operator in construction.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining loaders for material handling.
• Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and underground utility techniques.
