Job Summary

The Loader Operator is a key member of our pipe crew, responsible for operating and maintaining a loader to support the installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment necessary for underground utility projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain a loader accurately, following project plans and specifications for material handling and movement.
• Safety: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment, complying with regulatory standards.
• Material Handling: Safely load and unload pipes, materials, and equipment required for the project.
• Trenching Support: Assist with trenching and excavation tasks as needed for pipe installation.
• Quality Control: Ensure work meets project standards, blueprints, and specifications.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the pipe crew, Foreman, and other team members to coordinate activities.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding progress and issues.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records such as work logs and inspection reports.
• Problem Solving: Address operational challenges during material handling and loading tasks.
