Job summary

FlexSteel is seeking a Pipe Completion Supervisory Manager to lead Hydro and Respool operations on the production floor. You will mentor operators, coordinate daily work, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and standard work while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include hands-on support, equipment readiness, and effective communication with the Manufacturing Manager and Engineering team. English proficiency and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; lead operator certification preferred.
• Associate degree or 6 years hydrostatic testing/packaging or related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work with personnel and customers; valid driver’s license.
• English as primary business language; able to read/interpret documents.
• Ability to write routine reports, present information, and train staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hydro and Respool operations to meet schedule, safety, and quality goals.
• Coordinate daily activities, supervise staff, and maintain standard work.
• Serve as shift contact between operators, manager, and engineering.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Lead Operators and Operators.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee hydro setup/breakdown, testing, and equipment/tooling readiness.
• Oversee respool setup/startups, production runs, and inspections.
• Maintain documentation, setup sheets, run information, and reports.
