Flagship Pioneering, Inc. is offering a Northeastern University Co-Op position in Cambridge, MA, January 2027 to June 2027. The role is full-time (40 hrs/week) in-office, reporting to the Technical Operations Team.

You will work in a lab helping develop and evaluate formulations for biologics across multiple therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate is a current Northeastern co-op student with hands-on lab experience and a strong work ethic, ready to contribute to cutting-edge biologics projects

Key Responsibilities

The preparation ofbiologicsformulationvehicles

The creation and screening of multiplebiologicsand potential nucleic acidpayloads

The development of processes and techniques to improve the overall yield and purity of drug products

The evaluation ofbiologics/RNA,andformulationsusing variouscutting edgeanalytical approaches

The examination of drug product characteristics and stability for pre-clinical use

Routine documentation and presentation of data to cross-functional team members

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Great sense of urgency and willingness to learn and do new things in lab
• Hands-onand labexperience in chemistry, biochemistry, Engineering or related field
• Strong work ethic and a passion for benchwork
• A collaborative, team player and good lab citizen
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Effective and proactive communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of the following are a plus (but not strictly necessary):
• Experience withbiologics/RNA formulations
