Pegasus Mfg. Inc. is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Engineer to lead 5-axis CNC programming, process development, and automation initiatives.

You will design tooling, fixtures, and workholding strategies, support quoting, and drive cycle-time improvements in a high-precision environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on 5-axis experience, CAD/CAM proficiency, and the ability to bridge engineering, programming, and production teams to standardize repeatable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of 5-axis CNC programming preferred.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills.
• Read complex blueprints, GD&T, tolerances and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, prove out, and improve 3–5 axis machining processes.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for complex parts.
• Lead or support new job launches from print review to production handoff.
• Support automation, robotics, and lights-out manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain setup sheets and process standards.
