Pegasus Mfg. Inc. is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Engineer to lead and support complex 5-axis CNC programming and manufacturing process development.

You will contribute to quoting, fixture design, tooling strategy, and process prove-out while improving cycle times and production efficiency. This role targets someone with a strong background in 5-axis machining, robotics, CAD/CAM, and practical shop-floor manufacturing, capable of bridging engineering, programming,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advanced CNC programming experience preferred.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and setup.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, prove out, and improve 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC processes.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for precision components.
• Review models with CAD tools to support manufacturability and fixture concepts.
• Work with FANUC controls: offsets, alarms, edits, probing, setup support.
• Lead or support new job launches from print review to production handoff.
• Develop tooling and workholding strategies, including fixtures and cutters.
• Support automation, lights-out manufacturing, and robotics development.
• Troubleshoot tooling, setup, cycle time, and process Repeatability.
• Help reduce scrap and improve quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and leadership to improve processes.
